Leadership Development Program
Our flagship Leadership Development program is at the core of the founding vision of Embrace Leadership International. We believe that leadership matters in every social group. Most importantly, we believe that values-based leadership is the most reliable and sustainable way to deliver social, economic and political transformation for the benefit of individuals, communities and nations.
In the family, children look up to their fathers to guide, protect, and provide for them. In business, shareholders and employees want leaders who will increase profits. In politics, voters desire leaders who will deliver their manifestos and propel their societies forward. In the Church, we look for leaders who will embody Christ’s leadership.
In short, people need leaders who give direction without selfish ambition. This is why we’re running this program to raise leaders who lead with integrity.
Our Approach
Servant-Leadership Training
Progressive leadership is of service. We believe that leaders should serve their people for them to deliver transformative change. Our leadership training program equips leaders to be agents of change and accelerate inclusive growth and sustainable development in Africa. We train leaders to recognise, participate in, and lead interventions and development efforts within their communities.
We take a training-mentorship-coaching approach to leadership development. This approach enables us to promote and support a servant leadership model for leaders. Through our training sessions, leaders receive mentorship from current leaders (in politics, business, religion, academics and other professionals) and senior leaders who have left active public work.

Integrity And Governance Clubs In Schools
In line with our vision to raise quality leaders, we believe that great leaders have integrity. We desire to teach this value to our future leaders when they’re still young. To this end, we partner with primary and high schools to start and run integrity clubs so that children can learn from an early age why integrity is crucial for every leader and society. Our endeavour is to produce young adults who:
- do unto others as they want to be done unto themselves,
- do the right thing even when no one is watching,
- treat others with dignity, and
- deliver on trust in, of, and for leadership.
When we raise children who understand integrity, then we raise a society that holds its leadership to a high standard. A society that no longer elects leaders simply because they’re eloquent and have a loveable demeanor but because of their potential to deliver progressive change.
Summer Camp Leadership Training
In addition to the school clubs, we offer direct mentorship to young adults, teenagers and young kids to foster leadership with integrity and help them build careers and impactful lifeskills. We offer summer camp training during school holidays. The camps run at our centre in Ngoigwa, Thika. We also hold satellite camps to reach out to as many youths and young kids. After the camps, participants are connected with mentors who walk with them and help them build and grow their careers. We also offer counselling services to everyone in need.
We believe that charity begins at home. Without the support of parents, our work with the youth, teenagers and young kids will be in vain. To that end, we also work with parents and train them on how to raise kids with integrity.
