Our Story
For our Founder and Director, Pastor Thomas Omenta, the words of Jesus Christ ignited a vision that would grow over many years and eventually form the foundation of Embrace Leadership International. After over a decade of serving in ministry—pastoring, leading mission teams, directing organizations, and working with communities—Pastor Omenta identified a critical gap. While Africa is rich with passionate leaders, there is a shortage of trained leaders equipped to drive meaningful and lasting change. Many leaders serve with zeal and deep commitment, but often lack the tools and knowledge needed to transform society. This is not due to lack of desire—but rather, a lack of access to intentional, human-centric, and transformative leadership development.
At Embrace Leadership International, we exist to train and equip individuals in positions of influence—regardless of how big or small their scope may be—to become agents of change. We believe that with the right training, every leader has the capacity to inspire spiritual growth, fuel economic transformation, and promote peace within their communities. Our core belief is simple yet powerful: Investing in leaders is essential for Africa’s inclusive growth and sustainable development. We champion the idea that those entrusted with power and influence must actively engage in and lead development efforts, becoming true stewards of change and progress.
Embrace Leadership International is at the forefront of leadership transformation in Africa, offering a wide range of programs in personal development, leadership, management, entrepreneurship, agri-business, food security, climate awareness, resource mobilization, peacebuilding, and conflict prevention. Our mission is two-fold: To empower today’s leaders—estate leaders, assistant chiefs, chiefs, youth leaders, pastors, women’s group leaders, student leaders, and more—to maximize their potential and influence for the betterment of society. And to nurture the next generation of visionary leaders who will carry forward the mantle and create a ripple effect of transformational leadership for generations to come.
